Dear ones – Hope you are all well and safe. As we approach August I look back at how quickly 2020 is going for me and my family ! January 2020, I was all excited for 2020 which turned into big shifts by mid- March ! I remember I was planning my daughter’s Birthday, planning for kirtan album release and hectically putting on final touches to art-work etc. Of course nothing went as per my plan – however I am grateful that I was able to continue working and making changes to my plan and super grateful to be safe, healthy, working from home and connecting with all of you through this cyber space. I cannot stop thinking though about 2019 and how different it was from 2020.
Last year was my first Bhakti Fest and I was very touched by the love, support and warmth that I received. I heard some incredible Kirtans, attended yoga sessions and workshops. I so appreciate the efforts of organizers to quickly think, plan and move this entire experience to online. This year I look forward to attending all these sessions from the comfort of my home.
I am super excited to be a part of Bhakti Fest Reunion, an online 2 day transformational festival this Aug 8 and 9! Get your weekend ticket for $20. This online festival features musicians, speakers, activists and healers from all over the world, and would stream live 8th and 9th Aug.
I will be presenting a live set based on traditional Kirtans. During these unprecedented times it is all the more important that our beloved community comes together to celebrate, sing, learn, share.
